About Us

Founded by Clinicians

Community West Supportive Living was founded by the same psychologists who launched Community West and saw that progress made in therapy is often difficult to sustain without the right day-to-day environment.
While Community West Supportive Living is non-clinical, our background informs how we support young adults in building routines, accountability, healthy relationships, and independent living skills.

We provide a structured, supportive environment designed to help residents grow with greater confidence, stability, and autonomy.

While every day is different, a typical day at Oak Street may look something like...

Residents cooking together in a kitchen, preparing meals as a community

Morning

Residents begin the day practicing routines that support independence, including time management, personal hygiene, room care, chores, meal preparation, and morning check-ins with staff and peers.

Daytime

Residents participate in PHP, IOP, school, work, or vocational goals while building stability, structure, and greater independence. Life at Oak Street is designed to balance structure, responsibility, and independence. Each resident maintains an individualized schedule based on their treatment, work, or educational commitments, while also participating in the shared rhythm of community living.

Afternoon, Evening, & Weekends

Community life includes shared meals, household responsibilities, recreation, exercise, outdoor activities, creative projects, and learning to navigate unstructured time in healthy ways.

Night & Wind-Down

Evenings focus on community meals, healthy routines, connection, reflection, and preparing for the next day.
